Fast-Track Adoption

Full Customer FX Stack (Build / Expand)

gs-usecase
Use Case Snapshot

This path activates the foundational FX infrastructure required to build or expand a full customer-facing FX stack.
It enables a platform to establish the core FX operating layer for end customers, creating a future-proof foundation that supports conversion, wallets, payments, protection, and risk capabilities over time.
This path is designed for platforms that want to start with a clean, infrastructure-first FX foundation rather than activating isolated capabilities.

Prerequisites

This path can be started only if all of the following conditions are met:

  • The platform operates as B2B2X, serving end customers and owning the customer experience.
  • The platform intends to build or expand customer-facing FX capabilities beyond a single feature.
  • The platform accepts that Stage 1 focuses on infrastructure foundation, not full-stack functionality.
  • The platform is legally permitted to activate customer-facing FX infrastructure in at least one jurisdiction.
  • The platform supports API-based integration. No UI design or multi-product orchestration is required in Stage 1.
gs-symbol If any prerequisite is not met, this path should not be started.

Stage 1 – Fast-Track Scope

Included in Stage 1

Stage 1 activates the core FX infrastructure foundation:

  • Customer FX wallet layer (minimal configuration)
  • Ledger and balance representation for customer values
  • FX execution backbone for conversion readiness
  • One initial conversion flow used as activation trigger
  • Identity and boundary definition for end-customer FX activity
gs-symbol Stage 1 establishes a stable FX infrastructure layer that other capabilities can safely build upon.

Explicitly Excluded from Stage 1

The following are not included in Stage 1:

  • Full multi-currency product rollout
  • Customer-facing payments
  • FX protection or risk layers
  • Hedging products or strategies
  • Monetization or pricing optimization
  • Product UX design or workflow customization
  • Advanced configuration or policy management
gs-symbol These exclusions exist to ensure that Stage 1 remains an infrastructure activation, not a product launch.

Time to Live

Expected time to Stage 1

live: 2–4 weeks

This estimate assumes:

  • All prerequisites are met
  • Stage 1 scope is followed without expansion
  • Integration remains API-first

Fast-Track Steps

gs-connect

Initialize

Initialize the customer FX infrastructure layer.

gs-configure

Connect

Connect the platform to the FX360 core APIs.

gs-execute

Validation Check

Stage 1 is complete when:

  • Customer FX wallets are active
  • Ledger balances are maintained correctly
  • FX execution backbone is operational
  • Initial conversion flows execute successfully
  • The platform can safely expand additional FX capabilities
gs-symbol Stage 1 completion is binary: complete or incomplete.

What Comes Next

After Stage 1, the platform may expand to:

  • Multi-currency wallet support
  • Customer-facing FX conversion products
  • Cross-border payments
  • FX protection and risk layers
  • Hedging strategies
  • Monetization and pricing optimization
gs-symbol Expansion is optional and occurs outside the Fast-Track scope.
